Where to eat in the center of Cologne

Crowds of hungry and thirsty buyers only dream about where to have a bite to eat and drink in the city center. There are a lot of coffee houses and cafes on the shopping streets. Each shopping center has its own cafes and restaurants. In short, you do not have to look for a suitable place for lunch for a long time. On Hoyestrasse you will find small street stalls from which to sell.

Coffee houses

Merzenich. A chain of pastry shops offering a huge selection of exceptionally tempting pastries, pretzels and rolls with fillings. Drinks are also served here. You will find a cafe of this network throughout the city, but the one I decided to mention is especially convenient during shopping.

Al Cappucino. Ice cream and light snacks.

Fast food

Nordsee Fish. The café of this chain will offer you excellent sandwiches and salads. Wonderful place for a quick dinner.

Burger king. A very popular cafe where grilled.
Address: Hohe Strasse, 38; and Schildergasse, 114.

McDonald's. Burgers and fried potatoes will support the fallen forces.
Address: Hohe Strasse, 84.

Department stores

Galerie Karstadt. If you have the strength to go upstairs without being distracted by anything else, the choice will be virtually unlimited. The shopping center restaurant is a great place to dine.

Galerie kaufhof. Stop by the supermarket in the basement, and then take a break in a small Italian cafe or bar where you can have a quick whip up lunch for a reasonable price. * Hohe Strasse, 41-53.
